In the aftermath of the financial crisis, Dodd-Frank created a wave of regulation targeting the banking industry while leaving insurance in the hands of state regulators. Unfortunately, with the Financial Stability Oversight Council’s ability to designate and oversee non-bank institutions, insurance companies are caught in the crosshairs of state, national, and international regulators – each with different standards and demands.

The event will focus on the current state of the global insurance industry, the regulatory implications, and the possibility of a modernized, international standard.
