How Immigrant Workers Can Help Fill The Shortage Of Workers
AAF released a new infographic that highlights the findings of a new study examining the U.S. labor market that found the U.S. and Silicon Valley face worker shortages. The U.S. will face a labor force shortage of 7.5 million private sector workers in 2020. If the growth rate of immigrant workers increases by 25 percent across all skill levels then the labor shortage would decrease to 6.4 million.
The AAF research also found a labor force shortage of 72.5 thousand private sector workers for Silicon Valley. If the growth rate of immigrant workers increases by 25 percent, the shortage would decrease to 46.4 thousand.
