Income Growth and Inequality: What is the Reality?
Please join the American Action Forum for a panel discussion titled “Income Growth and Inequality: What is the Reality?” on Monday, November 7, 2011 from 12:00 pm – 1:30 pm in Hart Senate Office Building, room SH 902. Lunch will be provided.
The Congressional Budget Office’s recent release of a major study looking at income growth and distribution over the last thirty years has reignited the debate over who benefits from a market economy and economic growth, as well as to what extent the Federal government should play a role in income redistribution.
Our panel of experts will offer their interpretation of the data as well as the factors that have limited economic growth and increased disparity while offering their prescribed policy responses.
