Lorianne Woodrow Moss
Foreign Policy Expert
Lorianne Woodrow Moss has spent her professional career working in the arena of international affairs. For six years she worked as a senior aide to Senator Norm Coleman (R-MN), in the roles of Legislative Director and Legislative Assistant. In that capacity, she was Senator Coleman’s staff representative to the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, of which he was an active member. Mrs. Moss was Senator Coleman’s lead staff member for all matters related to foreign policy, national security, immigration, travel, and international exchange programs. From 2003-2006, Mrs. Moss managed all matters related to Senator Coleman’s Chairmanship of the Subcommittee on Western Hemisphere, Peace Corps, and Narcotics Affairs. Prior to her service with Senator Coleman, Mrs. Moss worked at the National Democratic Institute for International Affairs (NDI), where she helped to manage the external affairs, media and outreach efforts of the democracy promotion Institute. Previously, she worked as a government affairs consultant for Bannerman & Associates, aiding clients from the Middle East and Latin America in their relations with U.S. government entities. Mrs. Moss has a BA in International Relations from the George Washington University and an MA in International Relations from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS).
