Education: Student achievement in the United States is falling further behind our industrialized competitors.  Gaps in achievement based on wealth and ethnicity are poisonous and persistent features of the U.S. K-12 education systems.  New solutions and innovative policies are needed to address this growing crisis.  More money and expanding government control has not been – and will not be – a successful solution.
